A Note of Welcome to Beginners ... Come get started.
If you are curious about yoga, here’s an ideal way to get started. Discover the posture basics, learn breathing techniques, and find out about your body’s needs. Explore gentle stretching, breathing, and relaxation to bring ease and balance into your life.
In Kripalu Yoga, you learn the basics of a yoga practice, including:
* Insight into the body/mind/spirit relationship
* Breathing techniques to relax and rejuvenate
* Proper alignment of yoga postures
* Respecting your body’s wisdom and limitations
Kripalu Yoga Is For All levels
Kripalu yoga honors the individual’s needs and encourages each student to move at their own pace. The Kripalu style of yoga develops the body, mind and spirit in a compassionate and non-judgmental way. The classes begin with a centering, moving on to pranayama, warm-ups, asanas, relaxation, and closing with a short meditative sit.

Carol Flagg:
Carol Flagg is a certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher and a yoga practitioner since the mid seventies. Carol has studied and practiced several styles of yoga and enjoys incorporating some favorite elements from different styles in her yoga classes. Her goal with yoga has been beneficial to Carol as a women and she has focused some of her teaching on women's issues such as pregnancy and mid-life. Her teaching style emphasizes posture, breath awareness and listening to the body's messages.

Comfortable clothing for movement, layers are recommended.
Yoga mats and props are provided for class use, or you may bring your own.
Please check the directions page for landmarks at there is no sign on the street level. We are across the street from the red Soveriegn bank sign at 186 Main Street in Marlboro. Main Street is between East Main Street and West Main Street.
When registering for the session, the class is offered at a pre-paid discounted rate of $15 per class. If you would prefer the convenience or dropping in due to your schedule requirements, the drop-in fee is $18, contingent on available space. Fees can be pro-rated for due dates within the session.
